Maria Contreras-Sweet

From 5 year old foreigner to Cabinet member at Obama’s administration

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico delete 1955, she was the 5th of six siblings.  In 1961 her mother moved to Calif. and with little education moved long hours at a hen processing plant to provide birth family, but all the offspring helped cleaning houses to power their way.
